Situated in the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, our laboratory is studying fundamental aspects of microRNA biology and developing new approaches that exploit endogenous microRNA regulation to modulate the host immune system.  We hope that through this research we will be able to improve therapies aimed at treating autoimmune diseases, such as type I diabetes, and better target cancers.
