   Research Interests

Our reseach focuses on translational bioinformatics, integrating genomic, genetic, phenotypic, clinical, and environmental data to identify diagnostics biomarkers and therapeutical drugs, and drive personalized medicine.

We have been working on translational bioinformatics and personlized medicine from four directions. The first is to integrate genome sequencing, exome sequencing, and RNA-Seq data to drive personalized cancer therapy. The second is to predict personal risk of disease through integrating geome sequencing, electronic medical records, and environmental factors. Third, we have been developing methods to integrate and translate various molecular measurements in the public repositories into biomarkers for the diagnosis of disease.Last, we have been working on the discovery of causal variants, pathway, and mechanism to illustrate human disease through integrative genomics.
