Integrating Stacks to a Single Volume |
|
To integrate the stacks to a single volume select
Volume Integration from the File menu. This will bring up the Volume
Integration Dialog shown below.
Here select the destination directory where you what the output files to be saved. Select the prefix of the output file names. Select the file type. We recommend TIFF for optimal compatibility. Also most systems require that the output names be alphabetically sequential so make sure you check the Pad Number with Zeros option. You may also change the voxel size, the fill color for the volume and also the type of integration. The fill color defaults to black, and unless you need to set it to a specific value you should leave this option unchanged. The integration type refers to the way voxel values are set when there is a spatial overlap of two or more stacks. It can be set to Replace, Maximum, or Average. Replace is the fastest and Average is the slowest. We recommend using the Replace method. When you are finished select OK to start the integration. Depending on the size of your dataset and the speed of your computer this can take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes. |
