Measuring Distances |

The measurement tool allows length measurements to be
made for one or more line segments. This tool can either be selected
through the button in the toolbox or through the View menu. The voxel
units and spacing should be set before this tool can be used. The combined
length of all line segments is displayed in the status bar at the bottom
of the main window.
To use the measurement tool click and drag at the desired starting point. Release at desired end point to create the first line segment. See image below.
To create additional line segments double-click and drag at either end point (+). This can be done as many times as necessary. See image below.
Click and drag at any point (+) to translate it into a new position. See below.
Click and drag while the cursor is near any line to translate all segments. See below.
Once you finish editing the line segments you can read the total distance in the status bar at the bottom of the window. |
