Creating a New VIAS Workspace |
| Before you can integrate any stacks of
images you must create a workspace. In doing this you are defining the
location on disk where VIAS will save any information about a given set
of stacks. This includes a workspace file and also the stack
projections.
To create a new workspace, select New Workspace from the File menu. The New VIAS Workspace dialog comes up:
Select the location and name for the new workspace. This can be a network location but we recommend using local storage for all the data. The location button can be used to bring up the Choose Directory dialog. You may also set the voxel size for the new dataset at this time or you can change it later from the file menu. Choose OK and you are done. The new empty workspace is opened automatically after it is created. |
