We are currently accepting applications for a post-doc position combining genomic medicine and population genetics. The opportunity is to drive genomic discovery of medically relevant variants within a multi-disiplinary clinical care environment. Specifically, the candidate may develop/apply statistical methods for genomic variant discovery in large diverse population-based cohorts and biobanks, and work within a team of physicians and researchers to enable functional and translational follow up. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in biology, genetics, computer science, statistics, anthropology, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field. Knowledge of theoretical population genetics, complex trait mapping, medical genetics and/or next-gen sequencing is a plus.
