Jairo Muñoz (B.S., Computing
&Mgmt.) XRF Laboratory’s computer support
Jairo was the computer support colleague of
Dr. Todd and designer of this Website. His training was at Herbert H.
Lehman College, the Fashion Institute of Technology and the BRONXNET
Community Access Channel in New York City. His skills in the Interactive
Media field were numerous and his exceptional interpersonal and creative
skills proved invaluable in the productivity of our scientific work. In
this part-time position, Jairo advised in the development,
construction and implementation of the numerous computer tasks without
which no modern laboratory seems to be able to function. He deployed our
own server and workstations and was involved in the maintenance of each.
External to this laboratory,
Jairo advised in the development,
construction and implementation of databases required for multiple
departmental studies. He also assisted in the integration and use of
consolidated databases for analytical reports and was involved in database
programming tasks.
